I scrapped my first game because I discovered that fast shot is vastly superior to trigger discipline after all so I started all over again, BUT in that first game I picked up a Laser RCW while exploring the general area around the first town, I even had it before the Ghost Town Gunfight!(before level 4 or 3)

But I totally forgot where I found it or it is not there anymore, please don't tell me I have to wait 5 levels or more to find this gun again..

You liked fast shot? Personally I never really like it, better to not waste ammo for good guns instead of shooting it faster. Still getting certain random cache items is kinda annoying sometimes. Like when I went to a gun shed in a certain place up west and got a ywc rifle was so chuffed. Went there next game for my role playing games. It a Laser RCW. :banghead: Almost died getting to it both times.

Its a VERY low chance at that. I picked up one my 1st play through there and have not seen it back in the past 10 characters (and I saved outside before I opened the door the cell and reloaded about 50 times to see if i could get that bastrage to spawn )

My bet is that you found it in Goodsprings Cave (the one guarded by dogs), there's a Bright Brotherhood corpse that has a random energy weapon. Random spawns can be annoying, I once left Goodsprings with a scoped and silenced Varmit rifle, I now feel disappointed when I don't. which is every time.

I found 3 Bright Brotherhood bodies in that general area and they had 1 plasma and 2 laser pistols, :cold: I think one of them definitely had the Laser RCW in the first game.
LOL, I'm thinking of starting a new game just on the chance I could find it again early on, it made such a huge difference..

I tried exiting the game, restarting and entering the area but nothing changed.
