Tribes in F:NV

Post » Thu Jun 17, 2010 5:05 pm

There is no choice for me but to wait until F:NV is updated for the better. Until then I can just play some of my unopened games. While I'm playing Call of Pripyat and pretending it's Fallout I have been wondering if I will see Native American representation in F:NV. Nevada has a higher than average native population and it would have been higher in the 1950's. There are more than several tribes: Northern Paiute, Southern Paiute, Walapai, Washoe, and Western Shoshone. F03 had no tribes. Gaming companies cbf at this time to provide the entire spectrum of human race, but in Nevada I would hope to see some Native Americans in some places. When I can finally get NV and the GECK working I will assemble a radio station for F:NV.

I agree. I'm not even from the same continent and I thought there was a distinct lack of older indigineous tribes and even characters.

No, there are none.
It's odd.
Also, threads about NA tend to get closed.

Tribes? I love the spinfusor!

Oh ... wrong tribes

theres tribes, just not in the Native american sense of the word. there were supposed to be tribals in FO3, Crow was the only one though (until Point Lookout)

Tribals is the name given to rural inhabitants by those still living in urban areas. They have shrugged off many modern ways of living, and have returned to a simpler hunter-gatherer mentality

alternate timelines who knows what happened to the NA after the timelines split I mean there aren't many around now add to that everything getting nuked very few survived so its a small % of a small % making them probably very rare, and I know some one is going yo mention vegas not getting hit directly but theres still going to be radioactive fallout coupled with the harsh conditions its not like people who weren't in large population centers were fine.

Tribes/tribals play a central role in Honest Hearts.

I'm more of wanting to hear drum and chant, flutes, and to hear someone say "errrrr, buddy" and see some clues that their culture has survived.

And to hear more of this:
