Good Places For a Slaughter

Sometimes, when I'm sick of quests, I just want to kill stuff. Where are the best locations to rampage. Hoover Dam is underpopulated.

Camp McCarran can provide a target-rich environment. Nellis Air Force Base? :)

If you don't want to gain bad Karma: Vault 3, Black Mountain, Vault 34, NCRCF, Quarry Junction, REPCONN test site (Ghouls and Nightkins), REPCONN offices (lots of robots), all sort of different caves.

If you're not bothered about bad Karma, upsetting major factions and/or destroying quests: The Fort, Cottonwood Cove, The Strip, Camp Golf, Camp McCarran, Red Rock Canyon, Hidden Valley.

I'm sure there's plenty more, these are just on top of my head :gun:

taking out the fort is always fun to do if your not planing on doing the legion main quest you just have to kite Caesar and his guards cause they hurt in close range

If you don't care about karma or quests, try taking out the Thorn. Lots of good loot there provided you survive long enough to take it off the owners.

One of my favorites, is to park my companions somewhere, and set out into the fiend-infested sections over on the west side of Vegas. I go in at night and snipe a bit, sneak up and backstab here and there, tap the occasional stray on the shoulder then blow their heads off with a shotgun when they turn around and freak... fun stuff. Or you can march through with a grenade launcher and a minigun in broad daylight... either way, good times. And no rep worries, cuz drug addicted freaks are fair game in any reality ;-)

Westside. Lots of millitia, and Mean Sonofab****.

Actually pretty hard if you're not a high enough level.

The mountainous area around Jacobstown. I love that winding trail of Cazadores, plus the nest.

I had great short but ferocious firefight on hills directly south of Vault 19. As I crept up the ravine the radar showed a couple of enemies but as soon as the fight started deathclaws appeared from all directions. I'm sure there's more up there since the patch.

Deciding to take out Benny on the casino floor makes for a good fight too.
