So take a look at the screens. You'll immediately notice that the cliffs look like cliffs... unlike the mojave where it's an elongated polygon with some "rocks" sticking through the sides.

I love how good HH looks... I hope they do a landscape update for the rest of NV.

We have a thread about it,

As for the Mojave, it is a desert, I dont expect a good landscape for it, I dont think that they re gonna do a update in the landscape, that means a whole overhaul,

My point is, I for one dont care how the landscape should look like ,if the story is good enough, the other is secondary for me

In my limited experience, the mojave is striking, but not all that pretty. Arizona and southern Utah is very pretty with all the mesa's though, so there's might be a pretty accurate depiction... which makes sense.

There are a lot of areas in both Mojave, Capital Wasteland, The Pitt and Point Lookout I loved the first time around, but the more you play them the more "whatever" the cool landscapes become.
So yes, the new landscape looks sick, but after two or four trips down there it will become rather "meh" like all the others before it again.

... But it really does look freaking awesome. :D

Arizona is awesomely beautiful in certain areas, especially at certain times of day. But generally speaking, it looks best in carefully crafted photographs. :D

The screens look nice, but will there still be that near/far texture quality change "pop in?" That's what I don't like. Environments that pop in are very distracting, whether it's grass, texture quality of cliffs as you approach, trees, etc.

The Mojave Desert was accurately rendered in New Vegas.
