Bethesda didn't learn from Fallout 3

There are four main outcomes which means four trophies so you can't get it all through one play through. It is a RPG, make more then one character. If you don't like the idea of Role Playing why are you playing an RPG?! You can't finish the game with NCR and then turn around and side with Legion. Does not work that way. Game has multiple endings and multiple options to play.

i think he means he is in favor of the ending being completely meaningless so he can have his meaningless post-end grinding.

except for the faction specific ones, or ones that become unavailable when you have a low rep with the quest giving faction.

well yeah, thats a given, but you can still do everything for the faction you're working for and thensome, and then go to Hoover Dam. Not like you have a time limit.

That and meaningless trophies.

Play to have fun or dont play at all I say. At the end of the day thats all that counts, not a bunch of trophies/acheivements and "bragging rights".

Like Yes Mans if you play the game with Arcade being your advisor.

To be honest, I think it would be interesting to play a post-game DLC that takes into account your ending.
Just a short bit of content, say a few hours worth of gameplay.
Though, the scenario for this in my head would have you create and play an additional character- not the Courier.

NCR are evil bloodsvcking tyrants, if you do everything to Arcades liking, you have a great ending.

It be a better ending if Arcade would bring together the Enclave and try to get them forming again.

I hope not (and that's not meant to be a slag on Beth as I love them), but Obsidian should do it again. NV is a much richer game due to Obsidian. It's just miles better than FO3 and that is only due to Obsidian.

In your opinion.

Bethesda should look at what Obsidian did and implement some of it into their fo. Plus IMO they should keep Obsidian making them as well to cover more ground.

You can t look ag fo3 as all Bethesda can do with fo. As I ve said 1 000 000 times, Bethesda had to make a game to attract millions of fans to the series. Fo3 was a intro/reboot without really rebooting.

That by the way sold millions and millions of copies in like 3 days, and won buckets of goty and high placed in all time awards.

I think its safe to say fo3 was a success.

Now of coarse some old fo devs are going to make a more fallouty fo then what Bethesda was doing with fo3.

We don t know what Bethesda has up their sleeves for fo.

I d be interested in seeing how much that one would cost and how long it would take to make it. It would still be worthless to me, because there would still be n canon ending.

How about they just make fo nv 2 that continues the story from the canon ending? Now that would make sense........

You know, what is so bad about not knowing the canon ending? At least we know what the endings entail, and we can speculate, and the endings are satisfying for the individual preferences of the player.

just do all the side questes which you want to do before completing the main story and you wont notice any difference
there will come time when you will get bored of exploring and side questes and then it does just do the last quest and finish game with definite ending
if you continue after ending you will get bored too and stop playing
same content and gameplay hours but i think its better to finish game with ending then just stop playing in middle of nothing when you get bored
if you want to play again just load save right before you completed main quest
so it's not big deal

The question is does it even matter what is the "canon" ending? If Bethesda sticks to the east coast (pure speculation on my part) and if Obsidian will do no more spin-offs will New Vegas region even be a part of future Fallouts?

youl have to excuse me for being "ignorant" but how the flying [censored]could you (bethesda) make the same game with the same problems?...... again? im not talking about bugs, freezing or glitching that the producers never bother to beta test before releasing a game, im used to that,

im talking about when you finish the storyline after HOURS of building rep, finding unique items, leveling up and exploring the vast wastelands only to find out when you finish the main story at the battle of hoover dam, you get ANOTHER giant middle finger saying "haha, thats it, game over dude."

a lesson obviously was not learned after the Broken steel DLC for fallout 3.

so, when are they going to make a DLC to continue playing after hoover dam?

Do your homework obsidian not gamesas (Y) and i prefer that the game ends, for me its better because you have an ending not just carrying on forever.
And the problem with 3 was the fact that we didnt know it was gunna end, it just NINJA'D us sooo yeah.
