As a complete outsider on this issue, here's my 2 caps:

• The CRI mod does not look like my cup of tea (so I've never downloaded or used it, however a watched a few of the videos), but it looked like plenty of people liked it. It's a shame you would take it down out of spite or whatever biased attacks you felt you were directed at you and your work. If the Nexus Mods said it's ok, why do you care what anyone else thinks? If you truely enjoy sharing your creation with others (and from what I have read, I think you really do), why allow a few upset and perhaps misunderstanding modders push you out of some place you enjoy being?
  
• My impression was that you were "fudging" the permissions and credits with the content you were using in your mod (if that's not correct, I appologize, I'm not in any position to know or make a judgement). It is understandable that other Modders will take offense to this (tho, some seem to be a bit obsessed with it for whatever questionable reasons), so the questoin remains....do you understand what they were upset about and are no longer going to cut corners in this area? I think if you simply acknowledge that point, much of this will be a moot point.

Guys!! WHy!!??? Why the hell everybody is crying i would steal work of other ppl but NOBODY postet which work is stolen.... Tell me which content do you mean!!!! Tell me which mod is used without permission or proper credit??? If youll find it ill get the permission or remove it...

Again, haven't downloaded or played, but in this thread I saw accuations of:

Amazing Rifle (this was claimed to be illigal for some other reason...I'm guessing use of copyrighted content from another game?)
Crysis suit of some sort that you claimed was not in the mod. ?
One person claimed almost none of your credits are "proper credits". I have no idea what that means, but are you maybe unaware of the correct way list credits for someone else's content (and that's what everone is so upset about)?

Ok, looking at your page on Nexus, you didn't list any actual modder nicks with the mods & links. I guess that kind of the standard credit listing protocol (tho maybe a bit nitpicky). Kind of like listing a book as reference without listing the author....I can see how that may be part of the issue...I guess.

You're not really approaching it from the right direction. The onus is on you to ensure you have permission before using anything, rather than taking content, and only stopping using it when you get called out. Since you did it in the past, we're unsurprisingly going to assume that everything you use, you've stolen, unless *you* prove otherwise.

2. Amazing Rifle if you mean alexs scorpin ak.... it was removed in the version 1.19 (actual version 1.25)

okay I did say I was done with this thread, but the crysis suit not being in the mod is a total lie, it was there we all saw, yes might have removed so people don't accuse you, but it was there

second TheTalkieToaster has said what I think everyone has been trying to get across to you, and has said it better than I did in a non-bashing sort of way, but look at his post, you can learn something from him and next time credit people the right way and do not rip apart models that are distributed as is and are not to be modified which many of the readme docs do say

It was my understanding that the crysis thing was only used in a screenshot, not actually in the mod.

oh really!!!?? Would you plz tell the ppl who probably still have my mod the id of the nano suit???? That would be a prove of your words. Just open my mod .esp file find nano suit and tell me the id!!! You can not couse nano suit is not there!!!!

so after reading the posts on the nexus comments, this is what I concur, spinat was looking for attention he wanted me to be flamed for accusing him of not crediting people in the right way

now that he has gotten his kicks as people have slandered me (which honestly doesn't affect me in the bit and I will not be posting there) and now he is going to reupload the file because he feels he has gotten justice

spinat represents to me what immature gamers on Xbox LIVE are like, they are happy when someone who critizes them is put down by many other ignorant people just like him

thats what he is, he wanted the people who were rightfully telling him to properly credit and not tell mod makers to message him to be flamed and slandered by the many ignorant and immature users on the nexus who just want mods for themselves, the only reason they want your file spinat is because they can't do it themselves

and you on the other hand want attention which is why you started up this drama of taking down your file, the proofs right there

Lucien... he screwed up in the past. He didn't know the modders' ethics. His newest versions he has been working to get permission and remove questionable material.

You have a strong tendency toward harshness, at least from what I've read on these forums. It's alright to bring things to light... but you don't need to be as abrasive, especially when addressing newbies on forums.

Now, if I were in spinat's position, I would remove the assets, and then re-add them as I got permission... rather than remove them as I failed to get permission. But either way, the fact is that he really is trying to do the right thing now.

oh and I have over 61 kudos while you only have 40 bla bla bla, I don't want to get into that argument, look I could care less about your comments and downloads, most mods I make and I have made a ton, I do not share and I do have a WIP which you will be seeing soon, but that's not the point the point is you get your kicks off flaming me, what does that tell you?

Have the moderators gone on strike due to general intelligence decline across these boards?(Not aimed at anyone or anything in particular here, just back from looking at the general forums....makes me want to go outside and brain myself)

Spinat, Edit your mod description, put the credits as they ought to be in an orderly fashion with links to the original mods and authors, and be more careful from now on what you add and asking / giving proper credit. Lastly, Shut up
