So, what is the silliest way you have died? Here is an example.

Example: I’m fighting off the death claws and I deicide its time to take out my fat man, I blast all them apart but I end up making my companions made. (Arcade- Boone) Veronica and the rest of my team try to defend me but fails and Boone seems to be the survivor. But while this was happening I was looting the place ignoring the Firefight. :facepalm:

With only little health forgetting to heal Boone lets a round of and kills me.

2: The president is making a speech I get a little to close to the stage and they start firing at me (I kill them all), But not fast enough before Boone my one companion at the time throws a grenade killing me.

3: I’m walking along the death claw pit and I see the head of one flying around along the ground. It stops moving and I run up to inspect the floating head, when I near it the death claw head looks down on me. It let out a little snarl and I die.

4: I shot a fat-man and it just hit the side of the wall I was standing near nearly killing me. With my leg hurt I limp of to hide and regain health I end up stepping on the skeleton and I die.

Now what are your silly or just plain stupid ways you have died? Please share.

Tried to lob a holy frag grenade in Caesars tent, thought it would just be epic to go in there and take them all out in one shot. Last thing I saw before the game reloaded was his guards punching my corpse, which was missing two arms, two legs, and a head.

One time I told Caesar that I was done working for him...twice.

7+ praetorian w/ balistic fists > Me and Maria.

I also use Terrifying Presence on him with similar results.

It was totally worth the laugh... :rofl:

Fast traveled to Gun Runners, was somehow several hundred feet in the air. Fell to my death and bounced at least 10-20ft. Still giggle whenever I think about it.

Was all giddy when I got my first Grenade Machine gun. So I fired 3-5 rounds in the air and walked away. I failed to realize the arc I put into the grenades and so I rained fiery explosive death on myself.

Walked around Kimball six times to get at the sniper. 5/6 times I was shot at by everyone there and their mom. Survived with every limb crippled, only to die because Veronica was a little too grenade happy. Lesson: Give ED-E/Rex all grenades.

Walked into Zion, didn't know what was what. Killed everything in the beginning. Went into this rinky dink little cave. "Oh Hi Joshua Graham! Wait, why are you shooting me with that-" oh dear, I died.

Jumped off the cliff just off from Sniper's Nest thinking I was going to save before I hit the ground. Forgot to save.

Got my first Fat Man. Went to fire it off, and Arcade walks right in front of me. Would have survived if the Deathclaw Mother didnt sneak up behind me and put me out of my misery.

If we vote, this is my vote for best death :lmao:

Decided to go to the bathroom. Forgot to pause. Came back to a bloatfly finishing me off. Was so embarrassed that I started a new character.

Was exploring all the cliffs and places around Jacobs town and the surrounding area the first time after getting Rex fixed. Was looking up something on The Vault on my cell phone while the game was unpaused. Saw movement on the game screen and looked up to Rex pushing me off the cliff to my death.

I hate that dog for so many reasons.

I was trying to quite a coyote mario style then accidentally jump straight down the Devil's throat......

Walking towards Goodsprings cemetery when I start getting shot at. I look around trying to figure out who's shooting at me, only to find out it was a bloatfly. :swear:

I jumped off the first-cliff I came to in Honest Hearts, thinking the water was deep... 30 seconds after geting there.

New one:

I had 1 hp left while I was walking threw the Mojave A bloat-fly came at me from a distance So I thought Arcade could kill it for me, instead the Bloat fly shoots one thing at me and I die only to see the second after my death the bloat fly turn into green goo.

That's happened to me a couple of times, once I had just killed a group of raiders near a train tunnel. I leave to go to the bathroom or get a snack and I'm dead! I feel so silly afterwards :sadvaultboy:

A mod confliction caused me to die of thirst in the middle of Doc Mitchell's questionnaire.

I slept on my keyboard at 3 in the morning.

Died of thirst, hunger, and sleep deprivation at once as my computer went into standby mode after 30 minutes or so after I started sleeping. That prevented me from dying until I made my computer go out of standby mode.

Funny

An embarrassing way to die would be by Talon Company. It would take them hours, so you'd have to fall asleep at your pc or console!

I threw done all my frag mines except one(6) to kill a yuo ya gui and then one came up behind me and blew up all my frag mines and i died.

Used thump thump indoors Enough said.

I was using my Holy Hand Grenade, and I was counting to five instead of three.

Sometimes I like to go postal on an otherwise amicable, reasonable character and then kill myself to undo it, like in Groundhog Day. I save, then kill everyone in the town. Then stack up a big pile of explosives and detonate it under my keister, sending me into space to join the Bright followers on their great journey.

Usually I end up smacking into the space ship from Mothership Zeta before I can reach the far beyond though.
