Couple of quest questions

Post » Thu Jul 22, 2010 7:23 am

Okay first off, im trying to upgrade ED-E. I got 2 logs for him so far, just got the 2nd after visiting Helios One...... and now IDK what to do... lol

Second, I'm "with" the NCR as far as alignment, and i've pretty much gotten all of the quests from McCarran and so on so forth. Where can I get more NCR quests (if there is any), and where can I find them?

What are some good side-quests for good XP? I'm trying to get to 30 before my 1600MS pts card comes in the mail, and I can then play Dead Money and Honest Hearts. Pretty much just want to get to 30 before hand.

Thanks all around for any help! :disguise:

After getting the logs for ED-E you have to wait 7-9 days and someone will contact you. As far as NCR sidequests there are a few at Bittersprings and Camp Forlorn Hope.

Trust me OP, you can't fart without bumping into an NCR quest. Best place for reputation boosters? Camp Golf, Bittersprings, and Camp Forlorn Hope.

Yeah, I did that. And let me just say... one of THE most horrible experiences I've had with this game. (Went to go do the Old Papa quest for the one NCR lady).

Let's just say I went "exploring" to other locations not yet discovered on my map.. and ended up running into a GAUNTLET of frikkin Deathclaws! (I died my 1st two times encountering them).

Oh, and to add salt to the wound, I fought a nice lil herd of Casador before them. (And I have NO Antivenom whatsoever).

And... the game just froze on me!!! (Fallout 3 NEVER froze this much for me EVER I don't get it). New Vegas is like 20x glitchier then F3 was? :cryvaultboy:

EDIT: AND NOW I can't even load the Autosave I was on. It's sitting here for the past literal 3 minutes just loading forever.

Well you gotta level up a little bit first dude, cant expect to finish the whole game before level ten. After you do that then those same enemies your getting mauled by now start to get a lot easier.

... I was LV26 (Now 27 after killing those Deathclaws... again), since the game froze on me n all (360).

It was funny, but [censored]... I used my NCR Radio to call for Trooper help right? I'm expecting like 2-3 troopers to aid me? WRONG. They sent me 1 lonely [censored] dude...

(Who got utterly wrecked by Deathclaws ^.^)

Just got Oh My Papa done for them, but now ima head to some of the places people posted. I know at least 2 of them I haven't done anything at.

BTW, does anyone know if the next 2 NV expansions raise the LV cap by 5? (technical 4th one raising it to 50?) :obliviongate:

Yep, after all the DLCs come out you are capped at level 50. Prepare to be a god.
