Where does one get Patch 1.3 for the PC?

Post » Sat Aug 07, 2010 8:38 am

The title pretty much says It all, I'd be very thankful to anyone who answers my question. Is patch 1.3 the same thing as the Downloadable Content, or is it its own separate thing. I saw that this patch removed bugs, fixed quest scripts, and changed some of the recipes (to my liking) so I'm interested in getting it.

If you could just post a link to the page or something that would be great,
Thanks

I'm not sure where, but as far as I know, unless explicitely stated otherwise, it is it's own download.

Perhaps try googling 'New Vegas Patch 1.3 for (system)'?

Yep. As long as you haven't deliberately gone into offline mode and disabled auto-updates, fire up the game and you will get the update.

From what I gather, if you are on the PC you have to have Steam patch the game up automatically. If not on Steam then the 360 will tell you there is an update for it. I don't know about the PS3 but I assume it's the same as the 360 and notify you that there is an update.

If you are on the PC then we really can't say anymore, because it would mean you got the game trough other means, since you needed Steam to install it, getting it other ways, we are not allowed to talk about it.

Steam downloads it automatically.
Asking for it means you possibly did not get NV from a legitimate source.
Pretty silly coming on a Beth site to ask where you can get an update if this is the case.
 even more silly is having a picture of yourself with the fraternity insignia "Alpha gamma omega."
