FO3 GOTY

When I hold the O button on my controller the Pipboy light doesn't come on. I hear a click as it is supposed to (I played the game on PC before) but nothing else happens.

I also seem to experience radical lightening effects indoors. When I'm in a cone of light I can see the entire room, coridor or where else I am well, but as soon as I move out of the cone it becomes pitch black (no, not the movie) and what I could see before is now gone.

I though I could fix this with a patch, but looking around this forum it seems that GOTY is fully patched, so any others with this issue, and more importently any sugestions?

Check your controls in the pause menu.

What controls? As far as I can see, there is no option to change your Pipboy light.

• Go turn on your PS3
  
• Go to saved data
  
• Find Fallout 3
  
• Delete the options/setting save file

Make sure it isn't your controller causing the problem

I actually played Fallout 3 yesterday and I had lighting/graphical glitches as well. When ever I turned to face east the entire area would got black so that I could only see my follower, every other direction was fine.

I cleared it buy fast traverling but in your case I think you may just need to reload a older save ive never known graphical glitches to be permanent on this game.

I have actually never been able to turn on the Pipboy light, it is nothing new.

Did you change the light bulb? ;P
