Hey all. I'm trying to find a specific song from the game. The song is I'm So Blue by Katie Thompson. I've found it on youtube but I want to have a copy on my Ipod. I know it's not available on Itunes and appears to be the only FONV song not available on there (for some reason). I'm wondering if anyone here knows where I can DL a copy (I've done a lot of searching and can't find it). Also I'm not able to find the game soundtrack anywhere. Did Bethesda not release it?

Are you on PC? If so it's in the fallout new veags/data/sound/songs directory.
If not...um...not sure.

Can't you just download it off youtube and convert it?

They're probably concerned with potential copyright infringement, being the Official forum and all.
I have no idea what Beth's stance is on that re: the music in the game.

Some of the music in the game is outside the copyright law. I don't know if that's one of them though.

As it seems to be a recent song, and was licensed for Fallout, it's not out of copyright!

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, for a meriad of reasons, I play on ps3 not PC so that route is out of the question. I don't think it's a copyright thing because she did the song for Bethesda (I think as the song is not on any of her albums that I'm aware of). As for the youtube route, I have no idea if that works, how to do it, or if I would be able to keep the quality.

Not officially that I'm aware of, but I haven't hunted extensively for one.

Download 'Youtube Downloader' and just copy (or it actually copies the URL automaticly by itself) the URL onto the program, set a folder for the convertion and select output.
First, the youtube video gets downloaded, takes about 3 minutes depending on the video (a blank video just containing the song takes <1 minut) then press the other option (convertion) and it converts the mp4 video to mp3 music files
The whole operation takes less than four minutes or so.
And the quality is good, you can choose the quality each time you press Convert.
