Launch crashing

Post » Mon Aug 23, 2010 7:13 am

I have a Toshiba Satellite Windows 7 and i had fallout 3 digital copy from game stop and i deleted all the files because I got a crappy mod that ruined it. Then every time i tried to play it didn't work. so i got Fallout 3 game of the year edition on Steam. I didn't get ANY mods and launched it. it crashed right away and i cant even play it. I tried unchecking the DLC.esp files and verifying game cache and nothing is working and i feel like i wasted 30$. If anyone knows what to do it would be nice to tell me some suggestions. :swear: :brokencomputer:

Did you make sure to delete the Fallout.ini located in My Documents>My Games>Fallout3?

FALLOUT is the .ini file that should be deleted, it will re-create it when you launch the game again. Or really since its a clean install, you can delete the entire folder and it will re-create itself, that would work too.
