On a 360 that is not connected to the net, one of my friend's character file's difficulty bar is stuck at the default. The person playing is pretty much struggling through on an archer/mage and solving this problem would go a long way to helping them to enjoy the experience more. His other character's difficulty can change, and all mine do not have this problem.

Would it be a simple matter of hooking it up to the net for a minute while the character and his tag are active? I tried clearing the cache and it did not fix the issue.
