Me and a friend were playing in a fireteam online today. We got two good matches in and were having a ball, all of a sudden before the 3rd match, i was kicked out. Then I kept trying to join him but i kept getting denied and a message saying my rank was too high for that server. I was like what the heck?! I was under the impression that you would always be able to play with your fireteam. I searched this topic in the box up top but found nothing. Wondering if anyone could help me with this.

did you level up to the next rank during those matches?

Yeah, you probably levelled up to 5, 10, 15 or 20 and went up a rank whilst he did not, and obviously had it set to "My Rank" rather than "My Rank or Higher".

ive been having this problem ever since i ranked to level 20 a few days ago...seems like i'm being punished for being a high ranking player, for almost three hours yesterday i sat trying to join co-op matches and i found only 1 other person, i changed every possible variable i could easy, normal, hard, my rank, my rank or higher...nothing, i kept ending up as the host playing with bots and no one joined for the entire match.

it's also not a problem with ANYTHING else before someone comments on what iv'e said because i was a level 20 pure operative then i sold out my skills to go op/med demoting to level 19 and then i found servers full of people

Well I know personally I rarely touch my lvl 20 characters because I'm levelling up all my others... your best bet is to just start your own game and wait for people to select "My Rank or Higher". I always select it, even when playing with Rank 2 characters, I've come across a few Rank 5 matches.

its kind of annoying having to do that though...i do believe it seems to be the only way though, i also don't like playing versus that much, i found out for myself that a lot of high ranks play in old skool,but i prefer playing co-op don't seem to have as much fun playing against other humans as i do playing against bots on hard
