He goes to Old Olney, but he'll probably get killed by deathclaws if you're not there with him.

Going to old olney is like a suicide walk so Dave isn't very bright imo. A politician like Dave should go to Rivet City where at least 2 council positions, (Harkness and Li) will be open eventually.

It's west-southwest of the Republic of Dave, right next to Vault 92 (if you've discovered that).

If you approach from the Republic of Dave, Old Olney is just past the wrecked freeway overpass that runs north to south. Look for an abandoned Nuka Cola truck just outside of town, and lots of Deathclaws.

I'd just cleared Old Olney (which is really close to where I'm from! Cheers to Bethesda for putting in lots of real locations!) before going to the Republic of Dave, so there were no Deathclaws left to kill Dave.

If you protect him or clear the area before he arrives (you also need to clear a path for him because he'll easily get killed by raiders en-route) he'll make his way to a little alley with some dumpsters and just hang out there. You can talk to him, but he doesn't have much to say other than something about this being the New Republic of Dave and to go away. If you keep talking to him he'll attack you after the (I think) third conversation.

Its west of the Republic of Dave. If you can't handle a few deathclaws then don't bother going there yet.

Either way, I guess it's good-bye Republic of Dave, hello Empire of Bob.
