Stop complaining about the issues and just be patient

Post » Tue May 31, 2011 7:33 pm

Homefront has been out a month or so and it is still broken. If Crytek follow the same timeline it will be too late. The online on the 360 is not doing so well. Just over 350k have played online and I bet with the severity of the issues a large percentage of those have gone back to a game that works properly. I just dont want to see a dead game online because it took too long to fix. It was my money that payed to play so yea, id like to play compettitive games before its dead. As it is some lobbies never fill up. Sad really...

i hear what your saying, but trust me i think theres still way more buyers out there for this game. which will provide enough time for fixes before it goes dead. people should think positive, and stop complaining. I give these dudes credit for a game that always has potential for improvements.

^^As a consumer I DON"T CARE HOW HARD YOUR JOB IS! MAKE SURE OF WHAT YOU"RE SELLING ME WORKS!!

Here's a pretty elementary idea....umm...hire competent people. >_>

Free Radical had ONE good game 10 years ago. There most recent game, Haze, was an abject failure that doesn't exactly scream "hey Free Radical has value and experience at delivering an excellent, compelling, online experience. We should scoop them up!" in my book. They are a one hit wonder that should've just be left to die of natural causes.

You guys paid for the single player campaign, the multiplayer is a bonus. Get over your entitlement.

When I've paid money with the expectations of the game having product features they've listed and heavily advertised, I'm entitled to having them work properly on day 1.

Think about it Crytek.de purchased an entire company with the intent and sole purpose to have them focus entirely on creating ONLY the multiplayer component of the game.

Crytek.uk had 3 years and 3 betas and ONLY had to get the multiplayer right...aaand they didn't.

let that sink in for a bit

No game should be released incomplete yes, but honestly It's hard to get games 100% complete especially in the case of C2 which is a complex game form the looks of it. Every game I've played has had a flaw even Batman Arkham Asylum which had a game-breaking glitch that required the game to be from the beginning. This happened to some not all.

Like I said, it's not like they made these problems on purpose. If they can be ironed out with patches them I still don't see all the complaining. At least they're doing something.

Usually you can test-drive a sports car to see if you want to buy it. Just like there was a beta for this game. You knew there were problems yet bought it anyway. Did people honestly thought that in between the demo and the final product that the issues would be gone?

Retards at Networking = Crytek
Says the guy with the obvious education and experience with programming and development. o_0

You don't have to be qualifed or an expert to know that the networking is retarded. Just because Suppafinga may not be able to develop the game himself, like most of us here, doesn't mean he can't complain about the poor workmanship. They focused so much on making a fantastic game but have rendered it unplayble for some, crap for the rest, good for the minority and less fussy.

I'm fussy - I don't want to put 41 bullets on my feline to kill an enemy or them to keep teleporting, but that's just me. I don't want to keep dying instantly when the enemy hasn't even shot at me yet but on the killcam he's put easily 20 in me before I even aimed down sight.

IM SICK OF THIS!! I want to play the game but **** 0.90 kd players keep killing me because my host is 10,000 miles away in Bangladesh or apparently the best host for the good is on dial up connection. What were they thinking? I know, they weren't thinking at all. Why don't they outsource the networking to Bungie or Treyarch and get this sorted.

You don't buy a TV and then it has a fuzzy screen and then wait until a firmware update is available before it's fully useable, when you buy a product you want it complete otherwise put on the case *Caution - Game still in the developmental process*

I have a good connection, good speed and ping and 50% of my games are sub-par if not horrendous. For Christ Sake Crytek stop connecting me to hosts with dialup c

When you have THREE BETA'S and put a disclaimer on them SPECIFICALLY STATING that the demo/beta's quality is not reflective of the quality of the final product, Yes the expectation is that the issues found during pre release testing be resolved prior to launch.

If I test drive a sports car and discover there are issues, I tell the dealer and they resolve the issues before I purchase it. And if other issues are discovered or if previous issues reemerge after purchase, I can return the car at no cost.. that is not the case in videogames.

You can tell Cryteks lineage is in PC gaming. The release quality of Crysis 2 might fly with the PC community but its sh1t for the console gamers. The whole point of owning a console game is that its supposed to be hassle free.

Paying for something and having to wait a month or more for it to maybe work properly is a load of crap and is a poor way to do business.

Some of you are seriously overreacting, I want the flaws fixed too but at least give them time ..though a 5 minute thread from them saying "We are working on everything" would be nice.

I can't think of too many products on the market that do no have a single flaw, think about it we pay $20,000+ for vehicles and they always have some kind of issue, a $59 video game shouldn't be expected to be any different.

+1 Spot on

They should provide the first DLC free in my opinion as an apology to their customers. It's getting beyond ridicolous. The PC people are in an uproar over this game in their forum, seems that trying to please everyone has them loved by no-one.

Yes sometimes things have flaws, not often. At least with anything electronic I purchase.

It's not an issue of a "single flaw" it's easily over 20+, the list goes on and on and on ad nauseam.

They don't even have the common decency to provide updates until recently and we still don't get a timeline! Also according to the PS3 and PC forums the patches have done more harm than good. So already looking forward to a worse SP and MP... not.

My job in the U.S Army is to work on computers/electronics all day so maybe I'm used to electronics being flawed, probably doesn't surprise me as much. Most of the things people list I have easily overlooked, I think we need to focus on the major issues like private matches supposedly resetting your stats, and then go from there on the small stuff.

I definitely agree with you about them leaving us hanging with no announcements of future updates, bad business like you said.
