FOMM for NV?

The mod system is the same, right? Would FOMM work with NV, no changes needed?

Valve is probably going to fix that issue soon, though.

Edit: And by fix, I mean, open the game for support with it. They gave NVSE support, no reason why they probably wouldn't see about giving a NVMM support.

I don't see how Steam interferes with it at all, seeing as the file structure is the same, just the location is different. I mean, you install mods the same way; just drop them in the data folder. You use mods the same way; activate them from the DATA OPTIONS on the splash screen. The game just launches through Steam.

Of course, Steam might have an effect on FOMM itself but only when you try to launch the game from FOMM.

Then again, Steam is kinda messed up sometimes. :banghead:

I think it mostly has to do with all the BS concerning the way plugins are handled when you launch the game. I'm not sure of the details, but apparently Steam interferes with the process somehow.

That could also explain why the bonus DLC stays active even though I disabled them :/

Most likely, yes. If it makes you feel better, I bought FO3 on Steam, and I eventually had FOMM working like a charm even so. Though I think the process Valve used to handle FO3 was slightly different from how NV was handled. NV is purely Steam, while Fallout 3 was GFWL at its core.

Might also explain why Fpslimiter and D3DOverrider don't seem to work with NV.

I had the Steam version of FO3 and never had a problem with any mods.
