I just got the Crysis 2 and i like it alot. But i obviously cant play it online...so i was wondering what your opinions were on the Multiplayer ( for those who played it already )? And if you had any opinions on the Homefront Multiplayer as well...

The multiplayer is awesome if you are the host. If you're not, the lag can ruin the game play. I got tired of shooting half a magazine at someone and them turning around then getting me in one shot. The lag is worse than COD. I got this game strictly for multiplayer. I returned the game. I hope Crytek can fix this. I think Homefront plays better on multiplayer because of the dedicated servers. The graphics aren't that great but the game plays great online. I was expecting dedicated servers for Crysis. I had such high expectations for this game and I was pet down by the online experience.

Well, Kaos have said they'll release a MP demo soon. So you can judge Homefront yourself.

No idea what Homefront MP is like since I only care about SP and Homefront's SP isn't good in my eyes.

Crysis 2 MP in what I call "random chaos" style MP. It's the same type of MP you get from COD games. You have small maps and you respawn at random locations, making strategic play with team-mates all but impossible.

Homefront mp is very good and is much like MAG mp. Crysis 2 has way better mp, though, as you can cloak and armour up and other really cool things that make it EPIC!!!!

I only like the Crysis 2 MP as a change of pace from MAG,but the lag is terribly atrocious,and I really don't like that people can spawn behind you.Makes no sense at all,but I guess they think that it prevents spawn camping.

Homefront MP is trash to me.It wants to be like MAG,but fails in every single way.Less players,worse graphics,no medics,death=respawn.I do like some of the maps,but they get boring because of the amount of snipers there are.

I hate Homefront with a passion,so I would much rather play Crysis 2 any day.

I have not played Homefront but the mere fact that the SP is only 5 hours just made it easy for me to decide. For the most part Crysis 2 is awsome, the gameplay makes this game very fun to play. It is a shame the the MP has so much lag because I could really get into it. I actually have gotten into it despite the lag because the gamplay is just that good.

I will not buy a $60 game with only a 5 hour campaign no matter how good the MP is, I got to take a stand somewhere.
