I'd go for this too. They could totally do a "Firefight" type of game mode wiith the Ceph. The fact many of the ceph are deployed by gunship would make it easy for more enemies to appear on the map. Fighting regular enemies then moving up to big dudes and even cloaked Ceph. That'd be sweet.
I'd also totally enjoy have a Human vs Ceph mode. Where one team play as the Ceph and the other as humans.
OR even go nuts with a CELL vs Marines Vs Ceph game type.
It'd be cool to see how the Ceph see. Alien looking HUD with alien sounding suit. I'd go for that. It's ad depth to the Ceph too, story wise. Maybe there could even be alternate suit modes depending on Ceph class. Instead of Cloak and Armour, Cloak and Agility or something. If you could somehow make the Ceph's crazy leaping about easy to use for the player. lol..
This would actually be really interesting DLC. Games like Black Ops and Halo: Reach seem to just release new maps. New game modes with a new playable faction would keep things really interesting. AND if released after all multiplayer issues are ironed out, might actually draw back players that left Crysis 2 MP soon after launch.
Yeah that would be pretty cool, but am i the only one that wishes that they put in a co-op campaign? Not quite halo reach style, but kinda close to it?
For gameplay, Yes. I do think it'd be fun. But I think it'd also subtract a lot from the story. You go from being a lone wolf, super-soldier with a rare nanosuit, hunted by CELL throughout New York.
To being a super-soldier and his unknown, never before mentioned friend, who shares the exact same abilities...
