To start...stock Crysis on Very High looks like garbage compared to Crysis 2. Crysis only looks better than Crysis 2 after you download a texture pack and either Real Lifesis or Extreme Quality mods...Neither of which are creations of Crytek.

Hell the vehicle models in this game look better than those in most racing games...and that's depressing.

No it's that Nocturnal shouldn't troll about graphics when he hasn't played the game. If you bought it you have a full right to an opinion. If you didn't, you can still have an opinion, but shouldn't go around trolling and misinforming people.

Maybe he should say where his opinion comes from. But he shouldn't have to pay Crytek for the right to express his opinion as you seem to suggest.

They care I'm sure lol. They are also probably pissed at this ridiculous community. Not just PC, but PS3 and 360. There's problems accross all platforms. Crysis 2 isn't done yet. That's why we have patches. They are going to finish the game through patches, and give PC DX11, and etc. etc.

But I don't know if a Crysis 3 will come any time soon......I think Crytek will wait till' next gen, as in, DX12/new consoles, but that's like 3-4 years away.

This is an example of absolute and total ignorance. Crysis 1 looked INFINITELY better than crysis 2. When I first saw the character's faces in crysis 2 I was horrified by how bad they looked. The textures in this game are a joke, crysis 1 characters looked life like, almost totally real. No one that has played through crysis 1 on its highest settings can honestly tell me crysis 2 looks better, with its tiny field of view, bland textures and plastic looking buildings.

I think it's sad we are even discussing it. It should look better maxed out on a modern day PC there shouldn't be any room for debate. This is a four year old game and the fact that it doesn't scale very well on systems that were designed after it was coded (how could it?) shouldn't mean that games don't look better 4 years later.
