'Cos I'm pretty useless, I spend a lot of time watching myself die in the killcam. Is there a way to avoid it/skip it, as I usually know the problem - I'm crap - and don't need to watch it.

You can skip it by pressing square i think, you wont respawn any quicker but get to follow a teammate for a few seconds
