Hi Everyone,
First, I want to say that I hate 80% of this population.
I came here after I fell in love with crisys 2, I played both demos (Xbox/PC) and they were great,
Few things did change before release and it did improve the game.
I bought the game of $49.99+ tax with coupon and I enjoyed every second of it , yes, I even enjoyed dying.
After many MP rounds, I decided to join Crysis 2 community, and where to find the best; gamesas.com of course, but all I found was complaining and more complaining.
As a new comer i believed on you PC playes, I thought that the game was superior on the PC, after all , all complain were about connection and the lack of Bars. so I bought the game again on pc for $17 key only deal.
Well, I do like the PC version very much with all the HD 1650/1050 and weapons pick up ( no weapons pick up on Xbox 360 ), but with 54 ping I still died as much as I did on xbox 360, and I killed as much too. So. 2 bars / 4 bars: it does not matter as long as you know your map / nano suit.
After spending few days (2 Weeks ) here, I started to believe that the game svck: why not enough bars, why I cannot drop him after a full clip, why is it hard to see in nano mode etc… why I am not god.
Well, the answer to all of the above is…… get adapted to the situation and stop blaming Crytech... My guess is that the word CRY make you think that it is a Cry form.
I almost did not buy the DLC / was confused where should I play it, xbox were I paid $55 or PC were I only paid $17 for a key (funny how a key sound cheaper than a DVD)
I bought the DLC on xbox 360, because I know xbox population does not come to this form, as much as I know that they do know that a good call of duty is only made by the original infinity ward.

Well, I bought the DLC on xbox, and I am as happy as I paid for Halo 3 DLC, it is great.

Crysis 2 will not be a Call of duty killer, but I am high believer that Crysis 3 might be.
Crysis 1 had something special, but was an inquire taste, crysis warhead was less and less of an inquire taste, but inquire taste none the less. Crysis 2 in the other hand is way less, and less with smaller maps and easier nano controllers.
I do not want to write Pros and Cons post, because you will debate it.
Halo 2 had a debate, Rainbow 6 had a debate, Gears of War 1 had a debate, call of duty 4 had a debate, I am 100% sure that counter strike had even more debate and I had counter strike on my PC for the last … since I was 16 years old ( I am 32 now (father of 2)) (FYI, I played counter strike less than I played all halo’s combined.

I think, CryTech just got their salt and pepper right, and that’s what matter. because I see it as the million dollars recipe, and with updates (few months apart (real life)). The first time I played the game on the early demo, I told my wife: “these guys got the salt and pepper right”, I did not see that the network will be the main problem.
Please join me on telling CryTech that they have the right recipe, and we will be There for crisis 3 ( call of duty 10 killer). Let’s be honest, the only reason you are reading this is, because you care, you do a lot of biching (a lot) but you really do care, don’t you?
Please buy the DLC as I did, because your $10 tells Crytech that you care about the recipe more than a network code.(net code will get better with time)
Many games have spoken to me in the first 10 mins of trying them, and they end up been great for me, and financially to their makers, But crysis is one of them sadly without financial success.

I am here, You are here, they are here for multipliers only, And Crysis 3 will be there for us in 2014. just stick around please.
I paid over $182 for this game and I have 0 regrets.

Its been discussed before. Their's constructive feedback, and just pure ranting. There's a huge difference between the two. That is one of the main purposes of this forum. If no one provided feedback, from a consumer perspective, who knows what some games may turn out to be? Yes, the pure ranting topics are a turn off, but there's a lot of users who have spent time to find issues, and report them back to Crytek. Which I'm sure their thankful for.

A lot of people care, because they spent their earned money on a product. Any consumer would care. For the record, head over to the Xbox section, I think you'll want to retract that statement. The community here is pretty much a unit. You'll see some people from the Xbox section, in the PS3, and PC and so on. The community here isn't too large.

Lastly, "get adapted" doesn't apply in all conditions. If you enjoyed the experience, and wish to contribute to the DLC, then do so. I'm glad you're enjoying the game.

When EA decided to start charging people $ 10 too play online if you bought their games used. That's when I decided that I was going to demand request whatever more from them. P2P is a cheapass way too go and I can deal but we at least deserve the option to pick our server . I bought C2 new but for the guys who buy used and pay extra to play online . I would be tad upset to pay extra for MP just to run on servers 4000 miles away . Hope you get the picture bro .

this is brilliant! i love this game so much, but reading these blogs really does make you annoyed and kinda pursuade you, and then you play it and realise that it truly is a fantastic game (minus the networking issues w=hich will be resolved over time). keep it up crytek, haters gonna hate.

I love this game, i have a lot of fun playing it, but people should feel free to let the devs know of all the bugs in the game so they can fix them and make it even better.

TLDR.

I just hope Crysis 3 has good gameplay and if it improves on the current status and we can carry over classes and awards to the new game with totaly customizeable suits and skins and camos it will indeed be a MW killer. I love it way more than Black Ops!

Interesting point. i find that I don't see many of the problems that people complain about on this forum. I just consider myself lucky. I have yet to get a 1 bar connection, and even when I have a 2 bar I hardly notice any lag issues at all.

I love this game and personally consider it better than COD, but I would be lying if I didn't say that it will be replaced by BF3 in the fall. Still, it has been, and will continue to be, an enjoyable ride!

Anyway, I'm just surprised there's people who are still shocked that gaming forums are all utter pits of negativity. It's like a law of nature. And even the complaints are always the same.
