Dead Money is a bit... Awkward

1. When you are gassed, all your companions simply abandon you (the same thing happens in Raven Rock).

2.You somehow walk all the way back to the Abandoned BoS bunker, yet inexplicably and arbitrarily can't return.

3.How do you get rid of your collar, anyway?

4.You'd think Elijah would see the wisdom in letting you keep your gear (I understand it gameplay-wise, but still), increasing your chances of survival.

Elijah wasnt planning on you losing all your gear he does say that during the game play also it deactives & unlocks at the end but the other thing about your companions just leave you and you go back to the bunker was kinda pointless...

1. When you are gassed, all your companions simply abandon you (the same thing happens in Raven Rock). -BS, I agree. But owell. I would like at least one DLC to make companions transferable. Is that really that hard?

2.You somehow walk all the way back to the Abandoned BoS bunker, yet inexplicably and arbitrarily can't return. - They talk about how you lose your self in the cloud. You ever walk in fog? It is dfficult and I bet a gas of copper red dust is even worst. Its easy to get out and figure where your at by knowing theres no red cloud, but would you be able to find your way back in through that muck?

3.How do you get rid of your collar, anyway? - I'm guessing one Elijah died ad you ran through all that beeping the collar went dormant. But I agree there is a bit of a plothole where if you take the collar off you'll go boom. But lets just assume your beeping collar just turns off when Elijah's connection is removed.

4.You'd think Elijah would see the wisdom in letting you keep your gear (I understand it gameplay-wise, but still), increasing your chances of survival. - This explained above was because all foreign matter, especially radiation would be sent back to the address of the participant. Its explained that not even nuka-cola or other soda vendors were not allowed even in the casino. But yeah thats just a little scape goat they used to make you start out with almost nothing.

You do remember that you get 3 new companions to use in Dead Money, right? And how do you know your companions weren't gassed aswell, and ignored by Dog, and woke up later with you missing.

You have to realize that Elijah was a victim turned to would be conquer, mad man, Somewhat mad before, now total bonkers until you show up and turn the tables at the last minute using his greed for your need of escape.
Once you defeat Elijah, and there's more than one way to do so, the collar comes off. Upon your return it's explained why you can't go back, but may see her again
