Post » Fri Dec 10, 2010 1:19 pm

i have bought a new gamer pc for 660 euros, is it optimistical to say that the game
will run fluently on max settings, since it is designed for all the three platforms?

600 Euros sounds like Midrange specs I'm guessing.

Where did you heard that? i've got a 600 euro PC and can run Crysis on Very high with full HD resolution (ok, no AA but that is really not important to me) at 25~30 FPS. running Crysis isn't midrange.

Just build it with an AMD Athlon II X4 640 3.0 GHZ and standard Asus or Gigabyte Board 4 GB Kingston Ram DDr3 and a GTX 460 you can think of the rest... you will even be under 600 € and will be able to max Crysis out.

isnt that like 900usd and only a athlon quad and 460 yikes
you can play crysis on high with 1680x1050 with no lag im guessing
so around the same settings on crysis2 with dx11 disabled or tesslation/dof disabled

Does a single 9800 GTX AMP!2 edition cut it?With a core 2 quad,4 gigs of RAM,1.7 TB of HDD.I was able to tun the first crysis with a resolution of 1440*900,with medium settings.

Specs for Crysis 2 will be lower than for the original and with improved graphics. If you can run Crysis, you can run Crysis 2 aswell.

You sound perfect, but you may want to get a new video card if you plan to play at a highish resolution. The GTX 470 or GTX 570 sounds like a good pick to me, they are kinda the sweet spot for the NVIDIA graphics cards for the last year or two with good heat/price/performance ratios.

I recommend upgrading you video card. The GTX 460 from nvidia should be ideal for this case, and it has great performance/price ratio
