2p online?

Does anyone know if more than one person can play online for consoles?(kinda like Blops)

I'm already getting the game for PC but if there can be more than one person online then I will get the game for PS3 too so I can play with my friends.

Makes sense tho. Look at Halo Reach, in SplitScreen even most games look really bad framerate wise and have graphically pop ups.
