I have actually seen a EULA changed up before... No one ever reads em, but I do read em sometimes. I tried to report it, but there was no proof of wrongdoing or some bullsh*t.
I was participating in an open beta for some MMO, and we were told for almost an entire year that the game was going to be released in late 2010... 2010 ended, the game still wasn't released, still in beta. Shortly after that, they announced the game was being shut down. The thing is, we were all led to believe this was a game that was coming out. They made virtual currency available for sale that could be purchased from the game's website for real money... Then the virtual currency could be used in-game. After announcing the game being shut down, they hastily added some stuff to their EULA, stating that they were under no obligation to give refunds to anyone who had bought it.
It was seriously underhanded of them. Unfortunately, we live in a world were corporations can do whatever they want, and the government doesn't regulate it.
