I haz some pc gameplay :D

There seems to be no difference between the PC and Xbox 360 versions of Crysis 2. I mean, they are all developed using the CryEngine 3 Live Create, so there basically won't be any difference between the console and PC versions if I'm understanding it right. That's not necessarily a bad thing.

there won't be, as this was a blurry 720p youtube video. Consoles play blurry 720p games, so what you got there was quite close to what you'll see on console. But nowhere near what you'll see on PC.

Videos, due to their compressed nature, can never do a pc game justice. It's like the mona lisa drawn in crayola by a 3 year old. You may get the idea, but it's not in spunking distance of the real thing.

Crysis 2 > Halo.
Reach maybe, but NEVER the original three. I'm sorry, but that's a load of ****.

I play on consoles because all of my roots are with consoles. N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360, etc. I've got lots of friends and I just love being able to play and talk to them no matter what games we might be playing. I've also played shooters on the PC and I absolutely hate the mouse/keyboard setup. Have triggers and anolog sticks feels much more natural to me than pointing a mouse at something. And I'd get a good ass computer for Battlefield 3 and Crysis 2, but I would have no idea where to start, or have (or want) to spend the money on it.

My point exactly I thought the same thing but you can only understand how a mouse and keyboard is better if you spend enough time on the keyboard and mouse. when I made the switch from n64 and gamecube and playstation. At first I felt the same way control stick was better but after some months of playing and getting use to the mouse and keyboard. You would come to understand why keyboard and mouse is better. most console players who say control is better has not spent enough time on the pc to understand the value of keyboard and mouse.

Exactly, i played on consoles until 2 years ago. Now they (FPS's) feel awkwark, clumsy and worse in every way.

I prefere Gamepads over Mouse and Keyboard, because you just can "feel" the game more then just beeing good at it. Force Feedback, Triggers, mostly a comfortable, easy to remember control sheme. Pads are just.... better.

After playing with both (pads for a lot longer) I can safely say mice + keyboard is better. In the end, force feedback doesn't affect me anymore and the fact that there is a definite delay in between what i want to do and my fat characters arse pointing towards it takes me out of the game now.

Once you go M+KB, you can't go back :p But controllers are fine for those who haven't had fps luxury that is kb+m :D

... It's not. Controllers are just expanding the gaming experience, unlike mouse and keyboard. I'm going to buy Crysis 2 for PC, but I'm playing it with Controller on my TV. I've had Mouse and Keyboard for what? 5 years now? Still, I'm prefering Controllers over them. Just as I said, I can feel the GAME (yeah it's about the GAME not how good you can aim) more with Gamepads then with mouse and keyboard.

'tis indeed preference, but the lag of a controller is more jarring for me than anything else now. I can't play a fps happily with a controller anymore, it feels like i'm disconnected and i'm constantly fighting the controller to make it do what i want (and, btw, i'm very good with controllers having only used kb+m for 2 years, i can still top leaderboards without an issue but i still feel restricted). I can't feel in the game with that disconnection between thought and reaction on screen. In reality i could aim at something at the top left of a screen in about the same time i can aim with a mouse, that, for me, is immersion.

Whatever suits you best suits you, but i'll leave my controllers for my racing/platform esque games :)
