Counter Balance to Invisibility

What is the counter to invisibility?

My fear is that Crysis 2 is going to end up being Halo with camping.

I am sooo looking forward to this game!!!

If it's anything like the original, the cloaked player will still have a shadow and will make a buzzing sound, plus there is a distortion effect. It's quite easy to spot in certain situations and was quite balanced in the original.

By the way, this game is nothing like Halo.

thermal vision, low defense, and cloak always gave off a noise that was audible

In addition to the previously mentioned methods, there will also be a suit module available that will make cloaked enemies more visible to you.

Yeah thermal vision, module, and crosshair. I hope they keep the hissing sound in as well. I always liked that it forced you to actually listen and think instead of blindly pulling the trigger on anything that moved.

Smoke grenades may counteract cloak.

Use invisibility and hide under cover to detect position of camper. This is isn't too hard, because here's no prone anymore. Some fast slides and maximum armor mode can help you also in many situations, I think.

Or you can kill the sniper with rocket launcher, for example.

About me, I think where's no place to crazy camping.

I am pretty sure that cloaking also removes your thermal footprint so that the enemy also cannot see you with thermal vision. We shall see when the multiplayer demo starts though.

Actually, in the multiplayer footage, the player used thermal vision to spot a cloaked player operating the turret.
