loud distorted menu music

Crysis 2 has some of the finest music.
The musical composition is an impressive and turbulent score.
Thanks to composer Borislav Slavov, Hans Zimmer and Tilman Sillescu.

However, in the multiplayer lobby please fix the very loud distorted repetitive track.
The music isn't bad, but becomes redundant.
But the main concern is the distorted audio.

Thank you Crytek

There is a way around this problem as I got fairly annoyed trying to reduce the music level in multiplayer, to find it readjusted. So I turned off the music completely. That means you cant hear the background music at all but still get the surround gunfire and dialogue. Those settings should be put at about halfway with the master setting the same. I play my own music through another device to have countinuos joy without the hinderence of replayed songs. O.K. - this is not a way around but it does fix the issue in an immediate way. Getting the songs from the game is another issue and I'm sure you can use your resourcefulness to find a copy of these somewhere. Hence you only need to have the music of your choice to improve the situation instead of asking CRYTEC to fix something else that isn't quite broken. I think they have enough to deal with at present.
