EA PLEASE FIX LEFT AND RIGHT LOOK WITH Y INVERTION ENABLED.

Post » Sat Jan 01, 2011 10:42 pm

I love the graphics, it looks amazing and I'm liking the sound mix so far but the play controls are driving me dizzy. The default control layout with movement and strafe on the left stick and the look on the right anolog is very intuitive but WHY DID EA INVERT THE LEFT AND RIGHT WHEN SWITCHING TO INVERTED ON THE Y-AXIS?

Inverting up and down is cool but to invert left and right is pure madness. To try and learn a new playing mechanic totally opposite to what you're used to on such a visually stunning game made me so frustratingly dizzy I was forced to quit playing because I became nauseated. I feel sad to know that I will be shelving this game until a patch comes out that addresses this specific issue. My biggest hope is that it's something that can be addressed with a patch. Please help me and the thousands like me that play with this controller setup enjoy your product as well as the platform for which it was intended.

Sincerely Ratchet.

I play with inverted Y-axis and my left is left and my right is right...
You sure you haven't accidentially changed some other settings aswell?

Glad to know that it works for some people. Maybe my PS3 got confused. I just got the game last Friday and installed it with the patch and played yesterday. I will try again today to see if the problem still exists and will even uninstall and reinstall it to troubleshoot. No lie though, I felt ill and nauseated. Hopefully it works...

Update:
The issue has been resolved.
