STAFF: My account is very, very broken

My account Frogging101 is gone. For some reason I was able to log in with my email address as Brooks572@gmail.com

It looks like that's a separate account that's linked with the other one. My posts and profile still exist. Sending a private message to Frogging101 oddly causes Brooks572 to indicate "1 new message", when the inbox is empty.

Trying to get a password reset email for Frogging101 with Forgot Password returns a message saying that there is no such account. Strangely, the same thing happens with Brooks572.

Before you jump on me for having more than 1 account, I didn't create this account. This account pretty much appeared out of nowhere.

Also, I can't redeem my code on either account while Frogging101 was still working. I still can't redeem it with Brooks572. It's probably something to do with the fact that neither of my accounts fully exist or are corrupted.

Now I'm back on Frogging101, and I logged in to Frogging102. WTF?

You're not the only one having these issues. Account creation, management, deletion, and use within the game is totally screwed right now for a lot of people.

Yeah I know. But my case is unique because at one point my account was banned then unbanned. Sometime in that process my email address must have gotten disassociated with my account.

Weirder still my email address became it's own separate account, which was still tied to my real account. Upon logging into the email address account, all hell broke loose.

I don't believe this will have anything to do with your previous ban as that was weeks ago and this issue is happening to many people. It's being looked into by the web team atm. Sorry for the confusion/inconvenience!

Wait... Other peoples accounts are being split into broken multiples?

What can I do about the accidentally redeemed LE code? As I said a corrupted cookie caused it to go to my second account which for some reason still exists (Frogging102).

Okay I an bumping this because I am SICK of being ignored by the admins. EA support can't do anything because they don't administer the forum. And if my account can't be fixed at least transfer the LE code from Frogging102 to Frogging101

I NEVER cheated in ANY games. I wasn't banned for cheating, I was banned from the forums for obscene language.

And I'm not looking for empathy, I'm looking for the LE benefits I paid for. So please don't make assumptions and accuse me of cheating when you don't know what you're talking about.

It WAS gone. But then it came back when I went to my profile settings in Frogging102 (Weird). And it's still kind of gone. Logging out gives me "You are not authorized to access this page". Trying to log in with email or account from the main page gives me "Invalid username or password". Trying to use "Forgot password" on my email address or account returns that it's "not a recognized username or email address".

And did I post in the wrong section? I am sorry. It was originally in Feedback and Support and the forums seem to have changed.

The issue probably stems from the fact that both Frogging101 and Frogging102 are linked to the same email address. I'm not going to attempt to delete 102 as that could cause more issues than it would resolve. If you're getting the authorisation message when trying to log out you need to clear your browser data (cookies, cache, sessions). It's a pain, i know, but it's one of the issues that still need to be resolved on the site. This thread was moved from Crysis Discussion (formerly General Chat) but no dramas :)

Thanks for replying. I don't really care about getting my account fixed. That will sort itself out as the site issues are resolved.

But I would like my LE bonuses tranferrsd from frogging102 to frogging101. Thanks.

I think my source of issue is similar to yours. I can't login to my old account "exglade".

Cry-Adam checked and found out that my old account is tied to one of my email. But I tried to login, it said "Sorry, invalid username or password".

Then he reset my password and ask me to try again yet fail again with the same error message. Then and now I have an account (which is this... just to get closer to technical support) that's registered under the same email as my old account. Whatever is going on is really wrong.

I can't redeem my LE code with this account... Since I been playing Crysis 2 Multiplayer with my old account "exglade". Their account database is a mess.
