I think it would be a cool to see the memorial, but it would be kinda sketchy if they destroyed the memorial in the game, people get offended by things like that easy. But if defense of new york does not go well, we could be looking at a much larger Ground Zero in the game

I would love to play in the NYC history museum. I just think that would be so much fun

what about scene where alien aircraft crash into WTC memorial?

or even better, aliens will tossing dead human bodies down there (its some kind of hole in ground isnt it?) and than.. burn it with some laser weapon or whos know maybe aliens will make some blood pool from it and swim in it like in those alien greys abduction stories

i think if writer of this crysis2 story think by technology and possibilities which can do superior advanced civilization, there will be no war.. just dead humans, no batman, no superman, no chuck norris, no nanosuit.. they dont even have to enter earth atmosphere ... some virus can wipe us fast, some rich Rockefellers or Rothschilds will maybe hidden and safe in some secret bunkers but you like man-nobody will be left behind and spared for higher purposes of riches ones :/

I would LOVE if Crytek would have a scene or two where you are watching Aliens slaughtering CELL or Marines and even civilians! But they need to to do it at a tone where its not like Halo when you see the Brute holding a marine up just as it is about to stab him.

What I am saying is kind of forced in game cutscene that sadly restricts you from action but in the end I think it will feel more emotional.

No. I just thought REAL deep on what we are talking about. Remember we want emotion not something that just says "Aliens coming to NYC, killing people, you need to stop them done."

It needs to FEEL like we are experiencing whats going on! Its not good if we play as a super solider who just waltzes around killing aliens and helping marines.

We need something that makes this game pop, without it then we got just another generic halo or COD SP which isnt really the stand out of the FPS genre.

I rather take a Bioshock SP then a Halo SP.

umm, being someone who has been to manhattan island several times, you cant have new york without the world trade center, i doubt they'll have it play a significant role, but it would be nice to walk by it.

I get what you are saying about emotional effect, but to say that you would LOVE to see that might a bit much, you probably don't mean anything by it im guessing. But I agree that if they put something in there like that it would make it better in a way, games that have something that really digs at you emotionally, is a game that you remember. Now it does not have to be some graphic scene but still they do make you remember the game

This would be a memorable part of the game. For 9/11!
