How to change the game language? : Crysis

Hey guys,

I'd like to know if there is a official way to change the language from say German to English because during the installation it didn't ask me which language I prefer. And lets be honest the German translation is pretty despicable ^^

I thought it asked me when I installed it ... but if you have it on Steam, right click on the game in your library, select Properties, then Language, and select English. It might re-download some files, but it should work.

well.. it should, because during my installation the first option was which language i wanted the game in?

Aww unfortunately I have a hard copy so no Steam at all :-(

Well it is possible that I missed it during the installation but I'm pretty sure I did not. Can anyone confirm that the installer indeed asks you for the language? 'cause I'd reinstall it if you can change the language there ;D

Go to ur installation path e.g.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis 2

their will be a 'system.cfg' file which you can open with textpad. At the bottom it will say 'g_language = English'. Replace English with the language you want.

You will have to open it with administrator rights or drag it to desktop and move it back.
