I love this game, and all it's flaws are annoying, but it's still playable.

One bug in this game inpaticular annoys the hell out of me though, and really should be fixed because it's very stupid and extremely common.

I call them "dead zones", every map has them, where you're just running along and all of sudden you take a tiny hit of damage as if you've been shot once with the nova or something. This is SO annoying when you're running around with full energy cloaked and all of a sudden you lose all of your energy. Please address this. And it's not random either, because I now know specific parts of many maps that I make sure not to run over because I will lose my energy.. :/

I play this game more than anyone, so this isn't a random rant, it's a obvious bug which should be quite simple to fix.

Uh I'm not 100% sure but I think that's not a bug, when you get hit while cloaked you energy gets completely drained and the first shot that hits you is like 3 times stronger.

yeah i don't think this is a bug..when cloaked you lose energy..and you lose it even faster when running with cloak..it automatically just shuts the suit off for a brief moment and you walk slower,aim slower etc..don't think its dead zones..just got to watch your energy bar..

I think that it is a bug. The same exact thing happens to me many times and when it happens, i look around but there is no enemy anywhere.

Believe me, it's a bug. It's not from energy draining, I know when my energy is depleting, I'm first in the world for kills, wins, and skill kills, i must know something about stealth mode.. lmao. It's not your energy depleting from running or firing, it's instantly taking a small hit of damage on specific parts of maps, but the locations you take these hits are completely random and you take the hit for no reason whatsoever.

Ok number 1 guy! maybe its not energy drain..seeing how you play the game so much..lol!..it could be a bug! It might have happen to me..but I can't really recall! maybe seeing how you know what part of the maps to avoid..you should mention it in your post..so crytek can fix the maps, just a suggestion!

I only know on a few, but there are definitely a lot more that I dont know the exact area it's hard to tell where they are via this, but I know where one on is terminal, its right a long the wall inbetween two things of stairs on the far sides. Another on pier on the side of the level it's more annoying than anything just because you go from full energy to nothing lol

it 100% sounds like your energy has depleted.
just be careful about running and keep an eye on your energy levels bud. you will do better im sure

I think Xx_FAF_Sniper_xX is on to something. Every once in a while, the same thing happens to me. Spawn, take two steps, cloak, take two more steps, decloaked and no energy. 100% sure no opponent has hit me in any way or that i ran out of energy.

Yeah you're right. It happens to me many times and i agree with you

He's got a point expect it's not when you get shot it's just generally when you're running in cloak it'll knock you out an leave you open for about 5 seconds (Full Energy Charge Regain). It's random parts of the map like some times when I run through the bathrooms in terminal it'll knock u out even if no1 is around it'll do it, so it's not by fire it's almost as if theres something knocking u out of cloak when there isn't anything or anyone near by.

I know you love to troll him because he is number 1 but this actually is true. It annoys the absolute crap out of me as well, at first i thought it was some random perk that drained the energy of people within range but then I figured out it was just a bug, it's got be killed or put me in a very sticky situation numerous times and really needs to be fixed, I've rebooted my suit and im almost 50 again so I think i know what i'm talking about as well :/

This happens to me also in terminal and skyline most of the time.
Most of the time i get killed or i cant perform a stealth kill.

This is definitely interesting. I'm not sure if it's doing the same with me, or maybe I just think I drained all my nano from stealthing or running. I run through the bathrooms in Terminal and never have gotten my suit shut off in there. But I have noticed times where I'll be running along, especially on lighthouse and then all of a sudden my suit will shut off and I actually die and it shows a completely different kill cam, and doesn't show me dying. So I'm not sure what it is, but it's definitely a problem.

Can all you guys who have bugs like this do some video capture? It would not only greatly help prove your case but also be of tremendous value to the devs. Additionally I'm sure it will be a lot faster of a fix if you do that. I'm pretty much always being pelted with bullets so I might not notice something like that. FAF you gotta realize that with the sheer amount of time you play this you are going to experience these issues more than anyone else.

I get this too. I think it normally happens when my energy is low for a while, then it suddenly drops right down. It's like it can't keep at that level so it needs to drop in order for it to regain full energy again. I don't think it happens at any particular part of a map, it's more like what you are doing at the time, it's never happened when I had full energy from what I remember.

I have got a little over 96 hours of play and I get this mysterious drain every two, or three matches. I was playing terminal today and ran into a room on the lower level to recharge. I stepped out of the room with a full meter, ran maybe five meters and had a complete drain.

it's a bug, i've had this happen to me so many times, i've taken two steps before at the start of a match a lost all my energy.
the op should know if this is a bug or not he has played almost 200hrs online, so don't say it's not a bug just because you have'nt had this happen to you.
