Hello Fellow Fans,

I am new to the forums. I joined to search for a very specfic answer. After searching earnestly, I could not find any information about this.

Has the community been informed about whether Steam will be require for Skyrim?

I wouldn't be surprised if it did require it, but I wouldn't care. Do expect to find the game available over steam as well.

Sure they will for the DLC distribution.

Don't think they will have the same section they had for the start of Oblivions DLC?

I really hope its not REQUIRED. If there's a version distributed via Steam thats fine by me. But no forcing software on me, please. Even GFWL is better because it starts with the game and not before it.

I sure hope there is a Steam version available. I would be able to get an English version instead of a crappy localised one that can't even be patched properly.

There's no confirmation that I can find, but NV was a steamworks game. Beth didn't develop NV, but they published it. Ifthey had a good experience with steam then I'm betting it will be a steamworks game.
