Akavir Dragon hunters?

Post » Thu Jan 06, 2011 9:08 pm

I just thoughtof something. In lore akavir has dragons yes? and I had an idea that couldbe used as an excuse for there to be akaviri people in skyrim. Maybe they heard of skyrims dragon problems and sent dragon hunters to help? they could just be normal NPCs that you see fighting dragon and traveling or they could b tied into the main quest. What do you lot think? I highly doubt they're in the game (akaviri NPCs) but this does present a chance for them to be present on tamriel as dragon hunters. Akavir is only across the pond (sea) from skyrim after all. Discuss away!

Perhaps what do the akaviri look like anyway though?

Doubt it, but I like the idea. I would like to see them fighting dragons out in the wilderness once in a while, just dont make them too common. It would be better if they were a rare occurence.

Akavir has 1 [censored] dragon. 1, and it's the leader of the kitties there, as it was a kitty. However, if the kitty is actually a real dragon, or metaphorically a dragon is still ambiguous. For example, Tiber Septim was called a dragon, but we know he wasn't a literal dragon. They used to have a bunch, but they all died! Why does no one seem to remember this at all!?

Also, no Akavir at all. It's some very far off place that has their own problems right now. This game will be about the [censored] nords, not snakemen, tiger people, monkey men, and snow demons.

Why on Nirn would the Akaviri come to help? Akavir hates Tamriel and Tamriel hates Akavir.

Even though the races of Akavir killed off all their dragons I don't see them being in Tamriel. Akavir consist of snake people, snow demons, monkey people, and tiger-dragon people. The Tsaesci especially hate the inhabitants of Tamriel.

I know that, but they both hate dragons too, and if Alduin destroyed tamriel then akavir, I assume is next. They might come to help destroy the dragons so they dot speak and then travel back to akavir. So the enemy of my enemy is my friend would solve the tamriel - akavir hatred problem for the meanwhile whilst dragons are about.

Its like I said above they might help tamriel purely for the reason that they wouldnt want the dragons returning to lovely little akavir. :P

Eh...Akavir is some 3000+ miles away I don't see them coming over to aid in any way shape or form even with the enemy of my enemy. They would have to establish bases and staging areas to fight. I would love to learn more about Akavir and it's races. Just not like this.

Mysterious Akavir doesn't deserve to be part of the Elder Scrolls, the writing in that book is terrible.

They wouldnt hav to send a army, maybe a few adventurers or the 'black hawk' version of the akavir army. This way they would need large bases and staging posts, they'd find it easier to move, it was an idea I had. It is unlikely to happen, butiks a workable theory to have some of the akavir races in skyrim.

I'd say they could also use the dragons as an excuse to send people to figt the dragons, who could also send secret reports about tamriel for the next invasion I have no doubt they are planning.

It is purposely meant to be terrible, and, imo, cause a lot of wrong ideas for stuff like this to happen.

How do you know that Akavir wasn't already destroyed? It's been 200+ years since the time of Morrowind and Oblivion.

Its unlikely, it survived this long, and theres a lot of potential for future stories set on akavir. Doubt it would have been destroyed during a tmeskip during the 200+ years.

Akavir doesn't really have a dragon, they have a cat in a dragons body, or with a dragons attitude
