I realize that it will be a while before gamesas gets a new Descent game going
i would be happy with another add on pack like Mercenary .

There are a few great fan made addon missions for D3. The last one has come from some German guy.

Yea, kinda the same way mercenary was.. the whole darker side of the story
gamesas is probably like "WTF!! we cant live up to all these expectations right now!!! " hehe
Give us a D4 beta

They'll let us stew in our own juices for a while. They might be thinking about this completely differently, like "can we combine the success of Morrowind, Tetris and Guitar Hero and involve the Descent property in some way to bring back old fans?"

I give them more credit than that, but just sayin' it's all up in the air right now.

Well i certainly hope they are thinking about it differently or not but it doesn't seem like Descent is very high priority (if you look at the sites main page).
