A way for Interplay to generate revenue...

...would be to sell replicas of the ships from the Descent (and Freespace) series. Who wouldn't want a modestly priced scale model of a Black Pyro (with optional Guidebot to find your spew!) sitting on thier desk?

Probably not very cost efficient for them at this time, but eventually, I would totally buy all the ships.

Would be a nice inclusion to a Descent 4 Special Edition.

I think I'd buy all five! (Pyro-GX, Pyro-GL, Phoenix, Magnum-AHT, Black Pyro) 8-)

It's a spectacular idea, but they would probably want to collect some revenue and gather some capital to start such a marketing campaign. I would definitely buy the Freespace ships, and the good ole Pyro-GX.

Nice idea. Suggest a Dark Horse comics storyline too.

Or how about dig up some of the very early concept art from Parallax when Descent was just "Miner" or whatever, like when Pixar shows off its conceptual art? Perhaps that would be hard to get a hold of...
