A starters attempt of Photoshop CS3

Post » Wed Dec 01, 2010 9:59 pm

Well I got Photoshop CS3 recently and went straight into creating a Deep Space Picture. I started off with a Lens Flare with a Black Filled Background and went into Mega-Blur mode with it, the end result was the type of Sparkly Comet trail in the centre of the picture. The Black area around the centre was meant to be a poor attempt of a Nebula as the Comet emerged from the Darkness back into the Brightness of a Destinely Packed Star Cluster.

I coloured the Brushes a bit and just packed them in there and added a small Lens Flare at the top, then I Burned and Dodged parts of the picture and blurred slightly around the edges and I ended up with this;

(The size has messed the picture up a bit in terms of Resolution.)

I thought it was a pretty good attempt for a Starter to CS3, any suggestions of what I should work on? Waiting for the day gamesas start making Star Trek games again!

Look's nice for a first attempt :)

I think you should make something fallout related also, look for some awesome renders/art and incorporate them into a war zone.

I love post apocalyptic art. 8-)

Try making some signatures, or even edit pictures (such as color of something or the background). Google around for websites, best one I know is for signatures which is blacksungfx.com Image
