Account, emails and login issues

Hi there,

I was banned two weeks ago and I didnt knew that I was banned so i simply made a new account and then contacted with Cry-Adam. To contact him I needed to create a new account because how to contact with forum user when You cant simply enter forum.

Anyhow when I was unbanned I saw this in my messages list:

I remember that I used one and the same email address for those two account names which you can see on the screenshots.

ArturroK account is related to other email account.

But anyway - how is this possible that on my ArturroK message list I have those two messages which should be in different message boxes?

I think there is something wrong in cookie mechanism/creation of account mechanism.

I found people on pc forum who have login issues ingame - they simply cannot login to multiplayer and the message box says "please check your gamesas.com account" blabla.

I have a question: how does the logic of creating account looks at gamesas.com? Are our accounts somehow merged with account at gamespy? I had this issue with logging few days ago and girl on EA support said to me: please contact gamespy for further support. I thought ... gamespy? How? I dont have an account there, do I?

And where is the "change email" option in profile? :>

If there is somekind of account merging between gamesas.com and other service then I think that there could be some problems when lets say - someone used the same email for Crysis 1 and Crysis 2 game.

Hope Im wrong but if anyone from Crytek can say something I would be very thankful.
The thread about login issues have more than 160 pages and this is still not resolved... so maybe?

I've already spoken to you about this through several PM's... Why have you gone and made a thread about it now?

All 3 accounts are tied to the same email address: fo@g*****.pl

As gamesas uses email addresses as a primary factor rather than usernames, this is probably why you received the same message under different usernames. Emails are a primary factor because of the site's integration with Crysis 2. Which is also why the restrictions with emails are so light, for highest compatibility with game accounts/creation but we're looking at bringing up the restrictions on email usage.

We know there are issues with accounts remaining are are endeavouring to resolve them as quickly as possible but because this site integrates several different services there is no "quick fix" for the issues.

Because of this heavy amount of integration with other services i currently have no clear map on how the whole setup works but as above, the web team are working towards better/clearer functionality with the service.
