Please make the notification system work! (mail or on the forum with PM's or some sort of notifications on-site)

I (and I'm sure many other volunteers) am waiting for answers from people I gave instructions on how to try to resolve their problems and there's no way I can know that they responded except if I search for all my posts and find the one I was awaiting an answer for!

At least if some of us are giving free support on this forum besides the Devs or Mods, give us the tools to be effective!

Something else that might give a little insight into the gamesas/Gamespy integration issue (which also appears to be causing wrong account information prompt when trying to log into multiplayer) is that the nickname used on gamesas might already be registered in Gamespy, hence causing an error which defaults the in game username registered on gamesas to "gamesas".

I just tried signing up to Gamespy and was told Nyu was taken, however it would appear my email address remains unused (meaning the account creation there probably failed...). Hopefully this might help us get some of those bugs squished.

The horrible Flash navigation bars are now starting to crash, requiring a page refresh to be able to get anywhere on the site. Running Chrome 12.

Not sure, don't have it installed. The Flash player in the Canary/Dev branches is at 10.2.154.26, while the latest version advertised on Adobe's site is 10.2.154.25. It's possible this is a bug with this version.

Oh, and for clarification, they're not crashing a lot. It's an occasional thing and I can't see any way to reproduce it.

Not sure of this would qualify as an issue, but clicking the little Crytek logo that tells you a mod posted in the thread does nothing. If it's not supposed to do anything, then take this as a friendly suggestion to make it a way to quickly view all a mod's posts in that thread.

Seems like most of the major issues have been known for several months. To re-cap, here are the more annoying issues that need fixed:

*no email notifications. <----- #1 issue!

*pm count always says 1 new message even though there are none.

*main site does not stay logged in; forum site does.

*bright white flash when going from page to page (Google Chrome).

*bread crumb trail non-functional:
Community (works) > Site Discussion (works) > gamesas Forum Issues (broken).

*BBCode for List is non-functional.

There is a known issue with some console accounts that is causing usernames to appear as a series of numbers. Listed in the OP. Still being investigated.

It's possible to be logged into one thing while not logged into the other. Please log out of both then try login again. If you can't logout, clear your browser data.

This is an issue related only to Chrome and i believe something that Chrome has to fix. Was discussed on the previous page. I believe it's happening on the beta version but not the previous, stable version.

Yeah, this is an issue with the theme not using bullets & indent. The bbcode itself functions, just doesn't appear that way.

Just an FYI, the "Setup" section in profile is now working properly and you can add/delete rows without issue.

You can also now right click on the navigation bar and get the standard menu instead of the flash menu Yay for opening new tabs.
