Music From Descent

I'm listening to it now, cold_reality.mp3. Are the orginal games ever going to work with XP? If they ever make new game to work with XP I'll Buy!!! Does anyone remember Shattered Steel, Whiplash. They have to many old games that could and would be greta to play on XP. How do you get the original music to work with d2x-rebirth-gl.exe? The new music doesn't do the game justice.

The CD music should work with rebirth. Check your ini file. If I recall the redbook audio is disabled by default. I think there's like a semicolon in front of that line. Get rid of that and it should work. I don't have that installed at the moment so that's just what I remember.

I know you said you don't have it installed. But would you have more info on the right file to change

i've taken out all d2x.ini files out of the game and new music still playes?

Okay looked it up. You need to have a line that reads -redbook in your d2x.ini file. That should do it.

If you still have problems might want to ask over the rebirth forums.
