SP: Melee stops working after loading a checkpoint

Post » Tue Mar 17, 2009 10:14 pm

As the title says. I have had this happen to me on few occasions. After death and subsequent reloading of a checkpoint (which there are far too few I might add, this is PC, I need my one-button-quicksave) my melee/stealth kill stops working. Pressing the melee key doesn't do anything nor do I get "press Mouse5 for a stealth kill" when I'm behind enemies. The only way to remedy this is to die again and hope it works on the next checkpoint reload or restart the game.

Melee is mapped to Mouse5 on my Logitech MX518 if that makes any difference. Anyone else having this issue?

I am having the exact same issue, it's driving me crazy. I have looked for a fix but I can't find any. Crysis 2 has more glitches than the original Crysis, and I thought that has bad.

I hope Crytek get their heads together and fix some of these issues - soon.

Power Kicking an object usually fixes it for me. Like 9/10 times.

Just after I posted my last post, I went into Crysis 2 and tried to solve the problem. After shooting a Jaw the problem was solved. It also comes back after a stealth kill. Strange.

I had same problem, but I've already completed the campaign so they're too late with fixing it lol
