Beaten The Game.

I would just like to take my hat off to Crytek, they have made an incredible single player campaign that blows the competition out of the water. The story is a little dull at times, but for the most part is an amazing experience. I wasn't expecting the game to be so open (especially for an FPS), but what an awesome surprise Crytek had in store for me. I hope the next installment features a voice for Alcatraz, protagonist's not having a voice is so old school (in my opinion). Now the multiplayer on the other hand isn't as spectacular and needs some work, but I believe Crytek will have the issues resolved in no time. Overall though, I'd say this shooter is one of a kind and hard to come by in a crowded market.

I have to give credit for the single-player myself. Before it came out, I doubted the single-player thinking "They spent so much time on graphics and mechanics that the campaign is going to be short and stupid," and wow how wrong was I. The tactical spots are pretty cool. It basically says "OK, there is ammo over there. Now you can go around with stealth over THERE, you can use that turret that is placed nicely over THERE, or do whatever the heck you want. Now go!"

The game really is great. There is just the sort of glitches to work out, but I have to admit, glitches will be typical with such a powerful and complex engine.

Single player was epic, Multiplayer was a complete fail and let the whole game down in my opinion.

I personally loved the campaign myself.
I have played it 4 times.

starting on recruit, soldier, Veteran, SuperSolcier working my way up.
took me 1d12h38m that just cause i like to play around and not just do the objectives on the campaign

Not real big on the online play but is still fun but alot of bugs.
I am not one to whine and cry like a lil baby girl,
Like alot of people posting on these forums
But i do have mad props to crytek for a awsome looking game.
Crysis to litterally has the best graphics of any console game.
and when installed on "HDD it is only 5.5Gb call of duty games run about 7Gb
For crysis looking so amazing i am amazed about the size of it.

Hats off to you crytek and thanks for a great game!
