Yup there is a curse with the realistic games, its good that they try it out... becouse they will soon realize that it is a failure to have total realism in games -.-' But I would lie if when saying that realism svck... you just have to.. use it at certain degrees.
One big concern is thievery in towns -.-' where they run around with nothing in their own inventory and just steal everything you got, so if anyone kills them they dont loose anything, realistic... sort of, but damn boring to loose everything you got so easily. Exploits like this can be destroyed by adding fullseeing guards = guards in towns that can see EVERYTHING (or atleast have a very high probability to see thievs in action)... and kills every thief AND remembers them, so they can kill them later on and to just make some really annoying (REALLY ANNOYING) questlines so thieves can gain the towns trust again.
Crafting... thats the main problem, beginners who wants to craft a bit so they can earn xp/money... BUT THEN comes the nice poeple who also wants money... and kills them... and takes everything, or just plane annoying people who likes to see other people suffer, thats no small problem and what i would think is the main reason some people stop playing all together. The only thing I can think of is making safeareas :/ areas in where you cannot pvp at all, if you do try and kill someone you will die... By some guards or something i dont know. I just feel that it is pretty important to create a safe area where you can be at all the time if you want to. The safe area could contain some basic things for crafting and it could contain some lesser quests and some areas where you can find molerats or something to kill. I think it's important to let noobs have a good place to start off in, without getting instakilled by pros AND to have a place where people can craft basic stuff in peace, but more important crafting materials can only be found in more dangerous areas. Also dont have one safearea, have some spread out, near towns or something, so it won't get overpopulated... thats only booring in a wasteland mmo -.-'
and those are just ideas on how to solve those things IF they where to exist in V13, but I would really like to see some kind of noobzone, a zone that you wont get very rich in but it will give you a good base to start on.
