I need help w/ first time Giants Installation : Othor Games

I keep getting a blank screen and the when i hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete it gives me an error message:
ErrFailedSND
Can some one show me where to get a patch or a client needed or if it just needs to be reinstalled.
