I am currently recording an electronica album (with very Descent-ish music) to raise money for the cleanup of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill (for whatever nonprofit charities will be helping there).

For the cover art, I would like to have all six Descent II counterstrike bosses in a formation, but I was told that I would need to get permission from gamesas, even though the album is being sold for charity.

So now I ask: may I use the Descent II bosses in the artwork? When I die I want to be dissected by some mad genius and used in one of his evil schemes.

We can't give you permission through the forums, but the Partner form will put you contact with the right people. One warning, it can take a while to get a response.

Thanks for the info. I've applied (though I left the company information as none, since I'm working independantly).

I need to have the permission before August, so I may have to think of something else... (I need the album to be finished by September, but I need to give the artist some time to make the art).
