[DISCUSSION]Agility

What Skills/Talents/Perks should be derived from Agility?
If you follow cannon, Agility gives you the basic ability to use Small Guns, Big Guns, Energy Weapons, Melee Weapons, Unarmed Combat, Throwing (items, not people), Lockpick, Steal, and Traps. Aditionally it helped determine Armor Class (chance to be hit) and action points. But there are additional features I'd like to see for Agility.
CLIMBING -Whether its climbing a ladder, a rope, or a tree Agility can be a limiting factor, some things just take more agility to climb. I find that alot of games tend to leave this feature out, however it would be nice to have certain features be climbable through the use of a rope/grappling hook or by free climbing.
RUN SPEED -It only makes sense that increased Agility would increase your base run speed, as a flipside, because you run faster, you tire faster while sprinting
VARIOUS MELEE FIGHTING STYLES -Agility allows you to learn and adopt different Melee fighting styles such as boxing, karate, judo.... ect ect Stances for styles should be optional; for example If your in boxing stance you punch faster/harder and you block punches better, but your Roundhouse kick with have no power

I'd think it should increase your dodge rate of melee weapons Image

Agility is going to be a complicated thing.
Action points, how is this going to balance out
between someone with 1 agility and 10 agility?
10 agility = 10 action points
1 agility = 5 action points
With 10 agility i can do twice as much
as someone with 1 agility, Is this a problem?
We'll see.
I really like what you're thinking about,
you have a lot of good ideas with the
attributes, I'd like to see what you think about
get noticed.
As a fan of Fallout 1 & 2 and i had a blast through tactics,
I would love to see the attributes be really hard to alter
after character creation, I would love nothing more than to
see humans minimum at 1 and maximum at 10.
and have those attributes so hard to alter.
Possible yes but hard.
keep your thinking I hope the developers look at what
we have to say, mostly i see fans of the original fallout
games, and they know what they, want, they want good
old fallout, i just hope the developers give it to us,
Make it worth while to buy a lifetime subscription.

Fred "Well Frank, Cockroaches can't carry guns, now can they".

I think it would be interesting to see gamesas incorporate the idea of Action Points into their MMO.

I believe it would bring a different style of game-play that I for one have never seen in any MMO, so it might feel a little like FO:T but, I would rather have that then a skill/magic/manna bar.

The only problem I could see is that it would slow down fights, but that would force you to be a little more tactful then you would be in a normal MMO.
