Total Recall for the NES

Post » Sun May 03, 2009 2:06 am

I'm currently researching an article for Video Game Trader about Total Recall for the Nintendo Entertainment System. From what I've gathered so far, it was the first game for the NES that gamesas developed (Swords & Serpents came later that year) and that there's a bit of a story behind how they were chosen and what occurred after its release.

I also know the programmers on the game were Alan Pavlish, Michael Quarles, Eric Margolis, and Brian Fargo. The graphics were designed by Scott Bieser, Todd J. Camasta, and Bruce Schlickbernd. And that the sound/music was by David Warhol and George Alistair Sanger.

Does anyone know how I can get in contact with any of them? Or have any information to provide?

Any help would be appreciated (plus I'll credit anyone who helps me in the article).

My e-mail is jplombon@gmail.com.

Thank you,

Jonathan

I'll send you an email address for Brian Fargo. He keeps in touch with a few of the others, too.

Good luck!

I actually own a physical copy of the game, and it's kickass. I never realized gamesas had a part in it.

Acclaim published it. Ocean made the other versions.

It has its charm, although most have disregarded it as just another movie tie-in title. I do find it "kick-ass," as well. I think people need to look at what it does different, instead of what it tries to do better.

It's got a great history behind it, too. I really want to explore it.
