Do you know what makes a game, like Street Fighter 2, great? It's because you're fighting a different sprite during each match.
When you look at all the games gamesas has put out in the past, you're just treading thru levels and levels killing off the same sprite. Wouldn't it be great to incorporate Street Fighter 2-type elements into future games?
What I'm proposing is a sprite mutation engine, which uses an algorithm to make each and every sprite unique in some way, and not just a clone of a generic model. No two people are alike, so why should two sprites be alike?
